On Thursday the 18th, the 253rd Recruit Class had their Immersion Program here at Taraval Station. After a tour of Taraval Station, the 253rd was introduced by Lt. DelCarlo and Supervisor Katy Tang provided an insightful speech regarding the importance of police, merchant and community relations. Bill Barnickel and the 253rd went on a tour of Irving St and interacted with our neighborhood merchants and our community. The event was finished off by a lunch with the merchants and a final speech by Captain Curtis Lum.
