Message from SFMTA:
The newly-installed median on the Great Highway just south of Kirkham Street aims to help beautify the neighborhood and direct the flow of traffic safely and efficiently. SFMTA parking enforcement crews have noticed vehicles parking illegally along the median and along the painted area just south of the median. Parking is not legal adjacent to the median or south of it, Please note that parking is NOT LEGAL adjacent to any portion of the median — including all concrete and painted sections – or just south of the median. Illegally parked vehicles will be issued citations.
If you have any questions, you may contact the SFMTA’s Parking Enforcement Division by calling 311. If calling from outside a San Francisco area code, you may call 415-701-2311.
