Traffic Violation – Found Property

An officer was on patrol and observed a skateboarder skating on the sidewalk, in violation of traffic code, while carrying a frame of a bicycle. The officer detained the rider and was told that the rider found the bicycle fame but didn’t remember where. The rider also stated he did not want to keep bicycle frame. The rider was cited and the bicycle frame was booked in as found property.
