violation of a Restraining Order – Arrested

Officers responded to a report regarding a domestic violence dispute. The victim reported that the suspect had been drinking heavily and had started becoming verbally aggressive but the victim did not want the suspect arrested. However, as the suspect was in violation of a restraining order, the suspect was arrested. 

Battery

700 Taraval St
Officers were on duty at Taraval Police Station when the victim filed a report of battery. The victim reported that he was walking on the sidewalk and was observed laughing at the suspect’s dog. The suspect asked if the victim was laughing at his dog and punched the victim in the face, causing his glasses to break.

Officers responded to a report regarding domestic violence. Party #1, who stated that he and party #2, his roommate, had several alcoholic beverages earlier that day. Party #1 reported that he was sleeping in his room when he heard yelling and party #2 entered the room and began striking him and yelling at him for not answering his phone or the door.  Party #2 responded that she entered the room in an attempt to ask party #1 why he did not open the door when she was pushed to the ground and hit her head. 

After further investigation, officers placed both parties under arrest and issued emergency protective orders against each other.

Violation of Stay Away Order – Arrested

Officers responded to a call regarding a violation of a restraining order. Responding officers met with the victim who reported that the suspect had been standing in front of his house and was shown evidence of the fact. After further investigation and a search, officers located the suspect and placed him under arrest in violation of the restraining order.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

19th Ave & Winston Dr
Officers were on patrol when they observe the suspect urinating on the sidewalk. Officers detained the suspect and a records check on the suspect revealed a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Domestic Violence – Arrested

Lincoln Way & 32nd Ave
Officers responded to a report regarding domestic violence. Responding officers spoke to the victim who reported that the suspect, her boyfriend, had come back home while intoxicated and started an argument which escalated. The victim stated that she was placed in a “headlock” and was unable to breathe until the suspect released her when the victim’s daughter entered the room. Officers placed the suspect under arrest.
