Vandalism of a Street Car – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of vandalism on a MUNI bus. The bus driver reported that the suspect was placing his bike on the bike rack in front of the MUNI bus but kept going back and forth between the bike rack and front door of the bus. The bus driver remarked that the suspect should have taken everything with him before placing his bike on the rack. The suspect became angry and started making threats to fight him. The suspect then broke two bus windows and rode off on his bike. Responding officers searched and located the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was later arrested.

Driving While Intoxicated – Vehicle Collision – Arrested
Kirkham St & 21st Ave

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. The witness reported that he observed vehicle #1 hit vehicle #2, which had just pulled over and double parked. The witness went to check on driver #1 and smelled alcohol on the driver’s breath. Driver #2 stated that he had turned on his hazard lights while stopped when vehicle #1 hit him. Driver #1 stated that he saw the rear door opening which caused him to hit the rear of the vehicle. While speaking to the driver #1, the officers noticed he had an unsteady balance, poor manual dexterity and red watery eyes. The officers administered three tests to the driver, which he failed. After further investigation, it was determined that the driver had a .203 blood alcohol. The driver was arrested.

Officers responded to a fight at a soccer field. The victim reported that he was playing soccer when the suspect, who was also playing, had approached him and head butted him in the lip before punching him on the head. The suspect then fled the scene.
