Assault

369th Ave & Vicente
Officers responded to a call of an assault. Responding officers made contact with the victim, who was tearful and upset with shaking hands and her hair in disarray. Officers also observed that the victim had several, recent, shallow scratches on her face. The victim reported that she had a confrontation with the suspect while on the MUNI train. The driver of the MUNI broke up the fight and separated the girls with the victim getting off at 41st Avenue and the suspect at 38th Avenue.  

Assault with Vehicle

Ocean Ave & Faxon Ave
Officers responded regarding an assault involving a vehicle. The victim reported while at a light, a black Nissan Altima was in front of him and when the light turned green the vehices left signal began to blink. The victim then switch lanes and stopped next to the Nissan and honked his horn at the Nissan, then drove W/B on Ocean Ave. The unknown Latin Male in the Nissan then proceeded to follow the victim and stopped next to the vehicle and threw a metal object at the windshield and drove W/B on Ocean Ave. The victim followed the Nissan Altima and stopped in front of the black Nissan Altima preventing the vehicle from moving forward. The victim opened the driver side door and attempted to exit the vehicle, the black Nissan Altima quickly changed lanes and had contact with the victim causing pain to his left hip and lower back. The black Nissan Altima the drove W/B on Ocean Ave to S/B Faxon Ave to an unknown location. No known arrest have been made at this time.

Officers observed a male standing on top of the roof of Merced Heights Playground Recreation Center. The officers notice the same male suspect early in the day driving a silver Nissan with paper plates near the area of 300 Randolph St. Upon asking the male to identify himself in order to run a check, Dispatch advised the subject was on Federal Probation. Officers conducted a search of the suspect with negative results. Officers were able to locate the vehicle in order to search also with negative results. Male was no longer detained and was given a certificate of release.

Loitering – Cited

100 Tapia Dr
Officers responded to a report of someone loitering around. Officer met with a witness who observed a white male looking into the front window of an apartment. The witness proceeded to walk closer and observed the suspect trying to open the front sliding window that is approximately four feet from the front door. The witness confronted the white male and the suspect started walking away E/B on Front Blvd. The witness continued to watch the suspect until he notice San Francisco State University Police drive by him and the witness flagged them down. Officer spoke to the security personnel for the property and advised that it is a vacant unit and the suspect had no authorization to be in the property. The suspect was cited.

Officer was flagged down at Taraval and 41st Ave regarding a domestic violence incident Victim was walking with her son when her ex-boyfriend drove up in a green Pontiac Grand Am got out and came within a foot of the victim and said I love you. The victim did not say anything to the ex-boyfriend and walked away and proceeded to call her brother for a ride home. Victim then flagged down the Officer and advising that she had a restraining order on her ex-boyfriend she wanted to report the incident. Officer was provided with information and ran a check on the ex-boyfriend and the victim does have a protection order from the ex-boyfriend. The officers searched the area and was unable to locate the ex-boyfriend.  The incident was documented.
