Traffic Collision – Driving while Intoxicated – Arrested
12:00 pm
Byxbee St & Randolph St
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision that had occurred inside a storage facility. A witness stated that the vehicle was observed entering the area and then striking a cement pole. Immediately afterwards, the vehicle then backed into a metal gate that was closed. A second witness also reported that the driver was unconscious but her vehicle was still running.  Responding officers made contact with the driver, who showed multiple signs of intoxication and admitted to having one glass of wine prior to driving. The driver complained of back pain and transported to the hospital for medical attention and to have her blood drawn.  After the driver was cleared from the hospital, she was arrested.

Robbery – Threats – Arrested
8:09 pm
Ingleside District
A Taraval SIT sergeant identified several people who were involved in a robbery a few weeks ago at 1500 Sloat Blvd. The first suspect had been arrested a couple of days ago and was just out of court for an unrelated incident. The second person of interest was arrested earlier in the day by officers from Ingleside Station.

While the Ingleside officers were detaining a vehicle that was involved in a robbery, the person of interest pulled up behind them and asked for information of the situation. While speaking to him, the officers determined that the person of interest had a gun on him and was also using a fake name. After further investigation, it was revealed that the person of interest was also wanted on a parole violation. A search warrant was conducted and the items that were stolen previously were found in the home of the owner of the vehicle. The person of interest was arrested.
