Battery – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that he was sitting at a table that was next to the suspect and his friend. At one point, the suspect’s friend knocked over their beer causing it to fall on to the floor and splashing the victim. The victim said the suspect reacted angrily and poured water on him. The suspect responded that the victim started cursing at him after the beer was knocked over. The suspect also admitted to pouring water but did not know that it was a crime. After further investigation, the suspect was later cited.  

Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to Macy’s regarding two detained shoplifters. The witness, loss prevention agents, told the officers that they observed the suspect select numerous items before heading over to the fitting room. The suspect then walked out wearing one of the items that they had selected. Loss prevention checked the fitting room and observed numerous popped security sensors. The suspect then exited the store without paying the merchandise. One of the suspects also attempted to use an identification card that was not his while the second suspect had a warrant for his arrest. Both suspects were arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a possible fight. The witness told the officers that he was crossing the street when the suspect, who appeared to be intoxicated, became verbally aggressive towards him. The suspect was located and detained. A computer check revealed the suspect had a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Robbery

Gonzalez Dr & Rivas Ave
The victim told the officers that he was in front of his home smoking when an unknown suspect approached him and pointed a black firearm at him. The suspect demanded his property. Another two suspects slapped him and stole his property. The suspects then fled the scene.
