Traffic Violation – No Drivers License Issued – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with an expired registration sticker. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license was also expired. The driver was cited.

Robbery

500 John Muir Dr
Officers responded to a report of a robbery with a gun. The victim reported that he had just parked his car and was exiting when a suspect suddenly stepped into view and demanded his property. The victim stated that there were also two other suspects nearby and that they had a firearm pointed at him. The victim responded that he did not have anything to turn over and one of the suspects struck him on the head with the gun in response. The suspect then reached into the victim’s pocket and took his property. The suspects also attempted to open the locked vehicle door before fleeing the area. 

Theft – Possession of Stolen Property – Cited

Officers were flagged down regarding a report of a theft. The victim, a SFFD paramedic personnel, reported that they had picked up the suspect for a medical call. While en-route to the hospital, the suspect decided that he wanted to get out of the ambulance. Shortly after the suspect exited the ambulance, the victim noticed that her cell phone was no longer on the bench where she had placed it and found that it was missing. The victim followed the suspect, confronted him and successfully retrieved her phone without incident. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Suspended Drivers License – False Identification – Cited

Sunset Blvd & Yorba St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle being operated without brake lights. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver stated that she did not have any identification on her and gave her name, which turned out to be false, to the officers. After the computer check came out negative and after being told that there would be further investigation or an arrest, the driver provided her name and explained that her license was currently suspended. The driver was cited and her vehicle towed.
