Robbery

00 Harding Rd
Officers responded to a robbery at Harding Park. The victim reported that he was at the practice greens when he observed the suspect, who was holding a single golf club, walking towards him. The suspect then placed the golf club into the victim’s bag. The victim attempted to approach the suspect, but the suspect immediately grabbed the golf clubs and bag and ran for a waiting car. The victim struck the suspect’s arms and legs with a golf club and attempted to retrieve his bag, but the suspect successfully placed it into the vehicle and fled the area. The victim also punched the suspect once in the face and hit the vehicle with the golf club.

Officers were conducting LIDAR speed enforcement when they observed a vehicle traveling at 50 mph in a 30 mph zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop. The driver told the officers that she did not have a license yet but was going to take the test next week. The driver was cited.

Officers were driving on 19th Ave when they observed a vehicle with a registration that had expired in Sep 2017. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that her license had been suspended since 2016. The driver was cited and her vehicle was towed.

Trespassing – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. The victim reported that he had unlocked the church’s gate and discovered the suspect in a downstairs room at the church. The suspect had been warned multiple times in the past about trespassing. The suspect was cited.
