Shoots Fired into Dwelling

Officers responded to a report property damages made by a bullet. The victim reported that he had woken up and discovered the damages to his bedroom window and on a living room wall. The victim stated that he did not hear anything the previous night. After further investigation, the officers discovered that a report had been filed the previous night about shots being fired at approximately 2:11am in the same area but the caller refused to talk to the police. At that time, the responding officers were unsuccessful in locating witnesses or evidence related to the report.  

Battery – Warrant Arrest

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim observed the suspect, who had a previous history of harassing store employees, enter the store. The victim, a store employee, approached the suspect and told her that she had to leave the store. The suspect responded by hitting the victim’s arm before filling a cup with frozen yogurt and toppings before immediately fleeing the store without paying. Responding officers successfully located the suspect and detained her. A computer check revealed that the suspect had two arrest warrants out of Sacramento. The suspect was arrested.
