Driving While Intoxicated – Arrested

Brotherhood way & Summit Way
Officers responded to the area regarding a possible DUI. Responding officers arrived at the location and observed a stationary vehicle sticking into a lane of traffic with the driver asleep inside the vehicle. The driver stated that he had driven over to pick up some friends and then had hit a vehicle. The driver reported that his friends made him stop the vehicle then they exited the vehicle because they did not want to ride with him anymore. The driver admitted to drinking alcohol about four hours before driving. After further investigation, the driver was arrested.

Warrant Arrest

Officers responded to a report of a suspect who was aggressive and abusive to MUNI operator. The officers located the suspect and a computer check revealed a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

Battery
3:02 pm
1600 Noriega St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he was looking for a parking spot when he saw a vehicle leaving a spot in front of him. However, the vehicle behind the victim was too close and refused to back up and the victim was unable to park in the spot. The victim admitted to making a rude gesture at the suspect and drove away to park in another spot that was nearby and the suspect parked in the initial spot that the victim had wanted. While the victim was still in his vehicle, the suspect approached him and hit the victim’s hand which was hanging outside the vehicle’s window. The suspect then told the victim that at some places a person could get shot for making rude gestures at someone.

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim told the officers that he had gotten off the bus and was walking to his encampment when he saw the suspect walking out of the encampment with his girlfriend. The victim wanted to talk to the suspect, but the suspect hit him over the head with a pipe and walked away.
