Officers responded to a robbery at a storage unit. Responding officers arrived at the location and made contact with the suspect and the victim. The suspect stated that he had been helping the victim move and the victim suddenly attacked him. The victim stated that she had been there to consolidate her items into another storage unit with the suspect, who was a friend of a friend. The victim reported that during the move, she noticed that money was missing and an argument ensued between the suspect and the victim. During the argument, the suspect hit the victim with a metal tool. Afterwards, the suspect fled the area with the victim’s property. A search of the suspect located the missing items in his possession. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
