Assault – Vandalism to Vehicle

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim, a driver, reported that his passenger had wanted to exit the vehicle on Sunset Blvd and Taraval St but the victim was unable to find a safe place to pull over. The suspect responded angrily and exited the vehicle anyway and approached the victim’s side of the vehicle while yelling and hitting the vehicle. A second passenger attempted to calm the situation down but was punched by the suspect, who then walked away.
