The witness reported that she had heard a vehicle idling before the vehicle suddenly accelerated and hit a parked vehicle. The witness stated that the suspect, who was in the driver’s seat, appeared to be sleeping. Responding officers arrived at the location and a computer check revealed that the suspect did not have a valid license to drive. The vehicle license also did not match the vehicle. After further investigation, the suspect was cited and arrested.
