Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim, who was inside his vehicle, stated that he had been engaged in a verbal argument with the suspect over a parking spot before the suspect retrieved a gun from inside his vehicle and pointed it at the victim. The victim then drove a short distance away from the suspect and parked. Responding officers detained the suspect without incident and located a loaded firearm in the suspect’s possession. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
