Assault – Resisting Arrest – Case# 220765472

Alemany Blvd & Saint Charles Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The witness reported that the victim was on the ground and being beaten by the suspect. Responding officers arrived at the location and made contact with the victim, who had multiple abrasions and a swollen face. The victim, a taxi driver, stated that they had picked up the suspect from a hospital in Burlingame. However, when the victim arrived at the requested destination, the suspect changed their mind. An argument ensued which came to physical blows and the suspect assaulted the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.
Shortly afterwards, dispatch received a call concerning an individual, a naked male, who was attempting to break down a door. Responding officers arrived at the location and after further investigation, determined that the individual was also the suspect involved in the previously reported incident. The suspect was arrested for assault, assault causing mayhem and also for resisting arrest.
