Possession of a Loaded Firearm – Case# 250671087

While on patrol, officers observed a vehicle running a red light. The officers conducted a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers observed a firearm on the front passenger seat. The driver was given lawful commands but failed to comply. The firearm was safely retrieved, and the driver was placed in handcuffs. A large quantity of ammunition was also located inside the vehicle. Following further investigation, the driver was cited.
