Robbery-Weapon

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. When the victim arrived home early morning, an unknown suspect approached her with a handgun and demanded money. She feared for her life and complied. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

1000 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a burglary at a school. Officers met the principal who said two unknown suspects had stolen several items. A surveillance footage showed the suspects enter and wander through the school without checking-in at the front office.
Suspect #1: African American, male, between the ages of 40-45. LSW: Black hat, gray hoodie, black jeans, and white shoes.
Suspect #2: African American, male, between the ages of 50-55. LSW: Black baseball cap, black hoodie, white t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.

An officer responded to a report of a home burglary. A man said a personal belonging was missing from his residence. He left his belonging unattended while he was away for a few days. Upon return his belonging was gone.

300 Eucalyptus Dr
A man walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. An unknown suspect stole his personal belonging from his locker. The man did not see any suspect and no witness to the incident was found.

Driving without Headlights during Darkness-Suspended License-No Insurance-Cited

An officer saw a vehicle driving without its headlights activated in the dark. The officer conducted a traffic violation stop. A record check of the driver revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was also unable to provide proof of insurance. The driver was cited for those violations.

Officers saw a vehicle driving with expired registration tabs. The officers conducted a traffic violation stop of the vehicle. A record check of the driver revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was also unable to provide proof of insurance. The dirver was cited for those violations.

THURSDAY – OCTOBER 2, 2014

Robbery

500 Victoria and Holloway Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault with a bottle. The officers arrived on scene and saw a victim with wounds to her head. An ambulance was called. A suspect had hit the the victim over the head with a bottle. The victim fell down as a result. The suspect then went through the victim’s purse and fled with her money.
Suspect: White Male, 6’0, between the ages 40 and 50, 200 lbs. LSW: Light Gray T- Shirt, black pants and sunglasses.

Aggravated Assault

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Officers found an unconscious person on the ground surround by a crowd. A witness said the person was intoxicated and was yelling at taxi drivers that they were not licensed to drive people. The intoxicated person then hit one of the vehicles. The occupant of the vehicle got out and hit the person. The victim was knocked to the ground.
Suspect: African American Male, 5’9 between the ages 19 and 21, 145 lbs. LSW: Dark Pants.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim had left her home locked and secured. When she returned in the morning, she found the door damaged and opened. Multiple items from inside were taken.

Officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary. A victim said he believed someone tried to kick his door down when no one was home. The door had been damaged but no entry was made.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. Store security held a suspect in custody. The suspect had entered the store, picked-up numerous merchandise items, concealed them in a bag, and exited without paying for the items. Store security placed the suspect under Citizen’s Arrest. Officers then took custody of the suspect.

Officers responded to a report of a petty theft. A suspect walked into a store, grabbed two merchandise items, and immediately fled without paying for them.
Suspect: Black Male, 5’11 between the ages 25 and 29 170 lbs. LSW: Black beanie, white jacket, light blue jeans.

Officers responded to a report of a possible bicycle theft. The victim had left his bicycle unattended in a locked and secured garage. Upon return he noticed the bicycle was missing. He also said no one else at the time had access to the garage.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. When the victim returned home from work, her neighbor told her she saw two suspects pull up to her house, grab two boxes that were in front of the house, and drive away.
Suspect 1: white female between the ages 20 and 25. LSW: baseball hat, Long blonde hair, with shorts and sandals. Suspect 2: white male between the ages 20 and 25 with brown hair.

A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. The victim had received a notice from his bank that suspicious purchases were made on his account. The victim did not authorize the purchases.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim said a window in her downstairs garage was broken. There were no witnesses and no property was taken.

Taraval St and 24th Ave
Officers were flagged down by a reportee who called 911 to report a graffiti. The reportee pointed out the suspect who was walking down the street. The officers detained the suspect and found incriminating evidence. The suspect was cited.

FRIDAY – OCTOBER 3, 2014

Robbery-Force / Counterfeit Money

Officers responded to a report of a fraud. The victim said he met a buyer at a cafe to sell his iPad. The buyer gave cash to the victim and in exchange the victim handed-over the iPad. The victim immediately realized he was given counterfeit cash. The buyer then punched the victim and exited the cafe. The suspect stepped into an awaiting car and fled.
Suspect 1 (buyer): Hispanic Male, 5’6, between 30 and 35 years old, 185 lbs. LSW: Black hooded sweater, black hat with red trim, light colored jeans, and goatee.
Suspect 2 (getaway driver): Hispanic Male

Robbery of Service Station-Weapon

600 Lincoln Way
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. They met a gas station employee and a witness. The suspect had entered the store wearing a mask and with his hand in a pocket implying he had a concealed a gun. The suspect demanded money from the cash register. The employee complied. The suspect then quickly fled with the money.
Suspect: African American Male, 6’0, between 25 and 30 years old, 200lbs. LSW: black mask, green jacket, and black jeans.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim said her shed had been opened and multiple items were missing. The victim did not see any suspect or any sign of forced entry.

Officers responded to a burglary. A victim said when he returned home, he noticed multiple items were missing. Further investigation indicated a suspect gained entry through an opened window and exited through a patio door.

A victim filed a report over the internet that her wallet was stolen from her purse. The victim said she received phone calls from credit card companies asking for her authorization to open accounts with them. The victim did not authorize anyone to use her name to open any credit card account.

SATURDAY – OCTOBER 4, 2014

Robbery-Knife

Arch St and Garfield
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim was walking from his car to his house when two suspects told him to slow down. The suspects pulled out a knife and demanded the victim’s belongings. The victim complied. The suspects took the victim’s belongings and fled.
Suspect 1: African American Male, 6’1, between 25 and 30 years old, 180 lbs. LSW: Sports Jersey, Goatee.
Suspect 2: African American Male 5’8, between 25 and 30 years old, 160 lbs. LSW: dark clothing with shaved head.

An officer responded to a report of an assault. The victim was bleeding from his face. An ambulance was called and the paramedics treated the victim. The victim said he was walking to his car when a suspect hit him multiple times. The suspect then fled.
Suspect: Hispanic Male, 6’2, between ages 25 and 35, 250lbs. LSW: Tattoos on neck, long hair in a pony tail.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim walked into his garage to show a friend his bicycle. The bike was missing. The last time the victim saw his bike was one week ago. The victim said he had sometimes left his garage door opened in the last week.  An unknown suspect entered and exited through the opened garage door.

Officers responded to a  report of an intoxicated man walking into moving traffic. The officers detained the man. A record check revealed he had a warrant for his arrest. Officers therefore arrested the man.

Officers responded to a report of a vandalism. The victim heard a noise downstairs. She went downstairs and saw a suspect writing on her wall with a permanent marker. The suspect fled down the street as soon as he was seen.
Suspect: White Male, 5’11, between ages 20 and 25, 200 lbs. LSW: black tank top, black pants, and a black baseball cap.

An officer responded to a report of a theft at a store. The store manager said video surveillance showed an unknown suspect steal merchandise and flee without paying.
Suspect: African American, male, between the ages of 30-40, 6’0”, 150 lbs. LSW: Tan cap, brown jacket, white shirt, and black pants.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The officers met the victim and his friends. They said an unknown suspect bumped into the victim. The suspect then took the victim’s camera, ran into a getaway vehicle, and fled the scene.
Suspect #1: African American, male, between the ages of 20-30, 5’8”, 160lbs., with black hair and black eyes. LSW: White t-shirt, dark pants, and last seen getting into a tan SUV.
Suspect #2: African American, male, aged 30+, with black hair and black eyes. LSW: Driving tan SUV.

An officer responded to a report of a theft. The victim said he saw an another tenant at his apartment complex take his personal belonging from a common area without consent. The other tenant put the victim’s belonging on a truck and drove away.
Suspect: White, male, between the ages of 50-55, 6’0”, 250lbs., with gray hair. LSW: Dark t-shirt and dark blue shorts.

A man walked into Taraval station to report a theft. He was at his small business when an unknown suspect quickly entered and left. An employee from another business told the man that the unknown suspect stole merchandise from the man’s business. The victim saw that his merchandise was gone.
Suspect: African American, male, between the ages of 40-50, 5’11”, 160 lbs.

An officer was flagged down by a man. He said an unknown suspect broke a window on his vehicle. No property however was taken from the vehicle.

Officers saw a vehicle without a rear license plate. The officers stopped the vehicle. The driver said the vehicle was recently purchased. However a record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The officers cited the driver for driving with a suspended license.

An officer noticed a vehicle was following behind him too closely. The officer moved his police car to an adjacent lane to let the other driver pass him. The officer however noticed the vehicle had no registration tabs on its license plate. The officer stopped the vehicle and a record check revealed the driver’s license had expired. The officer cited the driver for following too closely, not having registration tabs on the rear plate, and driving with an expired driver’s license.

Aggravated Assault

Officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. The victim said he was walking down the street when someone came up behind him and hit him over the head with a wooden stick. As a result he appeared dazed and confused. The victim was taken to the hospital for further treatment.

Bomb Threat

Officers responded to a report of a bomb threat at an elementary school. Firefighters also arrived on campus. A note that stated a bomb would go off was found by the principal. The school was promptly evacuated. Officers and bomb sniffing dogs searched the campus. No suspicious device or bomb was found. Therefore students and staff were allowed to return to school.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim left his house unattended while away on a vacation trip. Upon return he noticed a drawer was open and many items were missing. He did not give anyone permission to enter his home while he was away.

An officer responded to a report of a burglary. The victim had left his house in the the morning and was not sure if he locked his living room window. Upon return, the victim saw multiple items were missing from his house. The officer noticed a foot print on the window rail. The window appeared to be the point of entry.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. Officers met a department store manager who said three suspects had entered, concealed merchandise in bags. and exited without paying for them. The suspect fled in a vehicle. A witness provided the officers with the suspect vehicle’s license plate information.

A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a vandalism to her vehicle. Someone threw ketchup and bean sauce on her car. The victim believed her downstairs neighbor was the suspect because they had got into an argument about the neighbor’s cigarette smoke rising into the victim’s residence.

Officers responded to a report of an assault on a MUNI train. The victim entered the train and asked a man who was taking up two seats to make room. The man became irritated and threw an unknown object at the victim’s head. The victim received a cut.
Suspect: White Male, 5’10, between 20 and 25 years old. LSW: Black T shirt, blue jeans, wire rimmed glasses, shaved head.

An officer was flagged down by a man who pointed in the direction of a liquor store with a broken door. The store owner was contacted and arrived on scene. The owner confirmed some merchandise items were stolen. Crime scene investigators also responded and checked for evidence.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim noticed his bike was missing from his garage. The victim did not give anyone permission to take his bike.

A woman walked into Taraval Station to report an embezzlement. She said one of her employees stole money. At the end of a business day, the woman counted money earned received from customers and noticed a large portion of it was missing.

A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a bicycle theft. The victim left her bike unattended next to her trash cans for the night. She did not lock or secure her bicycle. In the following morning the bike was missing. The victim searched her neighborhood and found her bike with damage to its sprocket and chain.

Officers responded to a report of an argument between two people at a restaurant. An employee and a customer were involved. The employee said the customer complained about his order and then demanded a refund. The customer became irate and kicked a door that resulted in serious damage.
Suspect: White Male, 6’0, between ages 30 and 40, 225 lbs and grey hair. LSW: Red button down shirt, blue jeans.
