Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. A store employee saw the suspect put merchandise in a bag and walk out of the store without paying. The employee stopped the suspect outside and placed her under citizen’s arrest for shoplifting. The officers took custody of her. They cited and released the suspect.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. A store employee heard security alarms go off at one of the exits and noticed an unknown suspect running away. The employee reviewed a recorded surveillance video and saw the fleeing suspect had stolen merchandise items.
Suspect: White, male, 5’7”, about 140 lbs., between the ages of 20-25, with brown hair. LSW: All black clothing.

Officers were flagged down by a victim who reported her vehicle was vandalized. The victim said her vehicle was vandalized once before, but she did not make a report about that incident at the time. The victim did not know the suspect’s identity. The officers took pictures of the vehicle.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. He said an unknown suspect had filed taxes under his name. He did not give anyone permission to do so.

Expired Registration Tabs-Suspended License-No Child Passenger Restraint- Cited

Officers stopped a vehicle with an expired registration tab. Officers noticed there were children in the car whom did not wear seatbelts nor were sitting in child seats. A record check revealed the driver’s license was suspended. The officers cited the driver for driving with an expired registration tab, having children passengers with no age-appropriate restraints, and driving with a suspended license.

While on patrol, officers heard loud screams. They found three people in front of a house. They had returned from a night of drinking at a bar. Two of them got into a fight but neither of them refused to press charges against each other.

Theft-Shoplifting

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The store manager said about two weeks ago suspect #1 and suspect #2 shoplifted and fled. Today suspect #3 and suspect #4 walked into the store with the same stolen merchandise that was taken about two weeks. Suspects #3 and #4 tried to return the merchandise for a refund. The manager refused because they did not have a receipt.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The store manager said the suspect entered the store, grabbed multiple merchandise items, and exited without paying. A customer followed the suspect and saw her get into a getaway car. The customer provided the officers with the license plate number of the getaway car.

An Officer responded to a report of a vandalism to a MUNI bus. The bus driver said the suspect ran along side the moving bus while trying to catch up. The suspect caught up to the bus while in traffic and began banging on the doors. The suspect broke a bus window and yelled at the driver. The suspect then fled the scene.

Robbery from Residence with Gun-Theft from Locked Vehicle-Burglary-Unlawful Entry

Officers responded to a report of a home invasion robbery. The victims said the suspect entered their home and held them at gunpoint. The suspect demanded money and other valuables. The suspect took multiple items and fled. Officers at the scene noticed a parked vehicle that belonged to one of the victims was broken into. Officers believed the suspect broke into the victim’s car, took the garage opener, and used it to gain entry into the home. Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) were called to the scene.
Suspect: African American Male, 5’8, between ages of 25 and 30, 160 lbs, short black hair, brown eyes, slight facial hair. LSW: All black clothes and shoes. Armed with a medium semi-automatic handgun

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim was notified by an alarm company that the alarm was going off at his home. When the victim went to his house, he discovered a side window was broken open. However no belongings inside the home appeared to have been taken.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim’s mother who lived in an in-law unit downstairs heard running footsteps coming from above. The victim was at work at the time and therefore no other person was at home. Officers believed the suspect gained entry by breaking through the front door.

Officers responded to a report of a theft at a restaurant. The suspect walked-in and ordered an item with a one-hundred-dollar US bill. When the cashier was getting change, the suspect ordered an additional item. The cashier turned around to retrieve the item. The suspect then reached over the counter and took money from the opened cash register before fleeing the restaurant.

Officers responded to a report of a theft at a store. An employee saw the suspect take merchandise from a shelf and conceal it in his clothes. The suspect then fled the store without paying.
Suspect: White Male, 6’0, between ages 50 and 60, 190 lbs, Grey hair. LSW: Eyeglasses, red sweater, baggy pants, and dark shoes.

A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. A box of tools and various item were stolen from the victim’s garage. There were no obvious signs of a break-in. The victim believed the lock to the garage door failed to work properly.

Officers responded to a report of a vandalism to a vehicle. The victim noticed her car was scratched. She believed her neighbor retaliated by scratching her car because she made a noise complaint against the neighbor.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. One of the drivers said he fell asleep at the wheel and as a result crashed into two parked cars. A record check revealed his driver’s license expired. The driver was cited for driving with an expired license and released at the scene.

An officer stopped a vehicle because the driver was talking on a cellular phone while driving. The driver admitted he did not have a license to drive. A record check confirmed the driver’s claim. The driver was cited for driving without a license and released at the scene.

Officers responded to a report of a theft at a department store. While watching a live-feed surveillance footage, an employee saw two suspects take multiple merchandise items. They then used a tool to remove the alarm tags. The employee went to the sales floor and tried to confront the suspects. The suspects however fled into a getaway vehicle and left. The employee was able to obtain descriptions by watching the recorded surveillance video of the incident.
Suspect #1: African American, male, 6’1”, about 200 lbs., between the ages of 20-25 years of age, with black hair. LSW: White t-shirt, and a black jacket

Officers responded to a report of a theft at a department store. While watching a live-feed surveillance footage, an employee saw a known shoplifter attempt to exit the store with concealed merchandise items. When the suspect went outside the store, she was detained by store employees. Officers took custody of the suspect and they determined the suspect committed a burglary. As a result she was arrested by the officers.

An officer responded to a report of a residential burglary. The victim arrived home to find the front door opened and many displaced items inside. One of his belongings was missing. There was no suspect description.

An officer saw a car parked in public with an expired registration tab. The officer saw a man inside the vehicle. The man identified himself to the officer. A record check revealed an arrest warrant for the man. The officer therefore placed him under arrest for the warrant.

A man walked into Taraval station to report a theft. The man said he left a personal belonging unattended outside a restaurant before going inside to place an order. An unknown suspect then walked out of the restaurant, took the victim’s unattended belonging, and fled the scene.
Suspect: White, male, 5’10”, about 160 lbs., between the ages of 26-29, with blond hair. LSW: Blond shoulder length hair, had a beard, and was wearing sports gear.

Officers responded to a report of a deceased person. The officers met the deceased person’s wife. She had dialed 911 when her husband was unresponsive. The deceased had numerous ailments. Paramedics were already on scene and declared the unresponsive person dead.

Officers saw a driver drive with a headset over both of his ears. The officers stopped the driver and a record a check revealed his license expired. The driver was cited for wearing-a-headset-covering-both-ears-while-driving and for the expired license.

Officers responded to a report of a vandalism. The victim ignored a knock on her door and pretended she was not home. The suspect then threw a glass ashtray at her door and fled. The victim believed the suspect is the same person whose car was towed when the car was blocking her driveway.

A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a road rage incident. The victim made a merging left turn when an another driver honked and flipped off the victim. The driver drove parallel to the victim and deliberately swerved into the victim’s car without making contact. The suspect then left the scene.
Suspect: White Male, between 35 and 45

A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a residential burglary and a theft from a vehicle. The victim came downstairs in the morning and noticed the lights were on and the doors were open. He noticed multiple items missing from his house. The victim also noticed items missing from his car that was parked in the driveway. Crime Scene Investigators were called to respond.

Officers responded to a report of a shoplifting. Employees saw the suspect conceal merchandise items in a shopping bag and exit the store without paying. The employees took custody of the suspect. A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a theft. The victim pulled up into his driveway. He then took various items out of his car and placed them on the driveway. He briefly ran into his house to grab something. When he returned he saw some of his belongings were missing.

Officers responded to a report of a theft at a store. The victim left the suspect in charge of the store while she left. When the victim returned she noticed various items were missing from her office. The suspect was the only other person who had access to her office. According to the victim, when she confronted the suspect about the missing items the suspect did not appear to be concerned.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim went to get his bicycle from his garage and discovered the garage door was opened all the way. His bicycle was missing. There were no obvious signs of forced entry. The point of entry and exit was the garage door.

Officers responded to a report of a vandalism to a vehicle. The victim parked her car in front of her apartment. She then received repeated phone calls from her ex-boyfriend. She did not answer his calls because she wanted to avoid him. The victim looked out of her apartment and saw a parked car next to her vehicle. The parked car looked closely like her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle. She saw the hood of her vehicle was up. She was afraid her ex-boyfriend was outside and decided to stay in her apartment. In the morning she tried to start her car but it would not. The victim believed her ex-boyfriend maliciously damaged her car.

Officers responded to a request for a well-being check on a person in a bathroom at a business. The person in the bathroom told the officers he had a large amount of cash and feared there was robbers waiting to rob him outside. A record check revealed the person in the bathroom had an arrest warrant. The officers arrested the person for the warrant.

A victim walked into Taraval Station to report a fraud. The victim was notified by his bank that someone tried to open a credit account with the victim’s information. The bank did not open the account and instead contacted the victim regarding the incident. No money was stolen or lost as a result.
