Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License- Cited

Buckingham Way & Winston Dr
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle in front of them with expired registration. Officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver also did not have insurance. The driver was cited.

Shoplifting – Resisting or Delaying Officers Duties – Cited

1500 Sloat Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a shoplifter with the witness reporting that they were following the suspect in question. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him. After questioning, the suspect admitted to shoplifting and that he dropped the merchandise on the streets. Officers retrieved the merchandise and returned it to the witness; the witness declined to press charges. While the suspect provided the officers with a false birthday, officers were able to determine his true birthday and the suspect was cited.

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. The victim reported that the suspect was at the house and frustrated because they were unable to find their paperwork. It was also reported that the suspect started yelling, pushing furniture and fixtures around because he was frustrated. During the incident, the suspect also pushed the victim. Upon questioning, the suspect refused to not confirm or deny the incident. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Threats – Arrested

1800 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a suspect making threats to an employee. Officers arrived but the suspect had already left the scene. The victim reported that the suspect had been in the store previously and was throwing items around at customers. The victim asked the suspect to leave which caused the suspect to angrily yell and threaten to harm the victim before abruptly leaving the store. A few hours later the suspect returned to the store and was detained by officers. The suspect admitted that he made the threats, but he didn’t mean it. The suspect was arrested.

Theft of a Computer – Resisting or Delaying Officers Duties – Arrested

1200 Irving St
Officers responded to a report of a theft of a laptop. The victim stated that he had left his laptop on the table at the food area of the grocery store to use the restroom. When the victim returned, he reported the suspect had taken his laptop and fled the scene. Several units responded to the area and the suspect was located by a Lieutenant, who had to give chase for about 10 blocks after the suspect. Once in custody, the laptop was also located with the suspect. The suspect was arrested.

Battery

28th Ave & Rivera St
Victim reported to Taraval Station regarding a known suspect who had punched her. The victim told the officers that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest and was currently on probation.

Assault – Attempted Homicide with a Gun – Arrested
7:32 am
3000 22nd Ave
Officer responded to a report of gun shots and multiple officers responded to the scene. The victim reported that the suspect, his girlfriend’s ex-husband approached him and fired a several shots towards him. Fearful but not injured, the victim fled back into the garage and hid while the suspect fled the scene. During the course of the investigation, Taraval TNT team located the suspect and arrested him.
