Battery – Arrested

Officers respond to a report of someone screaming for help from inside a house. Responding officers spoke with the victim, who reported that she was drinking earlier in the evening before getting into a verbal argument with the suspect. The victim stated that the suspect followed her into the kitchen and shoved her once, causing her to fall onto the ground. The victim believes that she tried to fight her way out of the kitchen but thinks she was only struck once.  The suspect stated that he was involved in a verbal argument and said something about the victim’s deceased mother that may have angered the victim. The suspect also admitted to pushing the victim lightly because she was being verbally aggressive. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers observed a vehicle with expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver also did not have proof of insurance. The driver was cited.

Warrant Arrest – Arrested

2000 Irving St
An officer observed a known suspect, who had a warrant for his arrest, standing in for of a store on Irving St. The suspect was detained and the warrant was confirmed. The suspect was arrested.

Officers observed a vehicle with expired registration. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Battery
2:16 am
Great Hwy & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim said that an unknown suspect had struck him in head and in the back for unknown reasons; the victim never saw the suspect. Officers searched the area and located a person who was at the scene where the battery occurred and spoke with them. The suspect admitted to hitting the victim and explained that his girlfriend was sleeping on the ground when the victim exposed himself to her. The suspect heard his girlfriend scream and he pulled the victim to hit him. All parties refused to press charges.
