Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers were on patrol when they observed a male on a skateboard. Officers recognized the suspect from prior police contacts and was aware that he also had an active felony warrant for his arrest. Officers confirmed the suspect’s outstanding warrant and arrested the suspect.

Domestic Violence – Arrested

Officers responded to a call regarding a person that may have attempted suicide.  Responding officers spoke with the victim who stated that he and the suspect had been in a 27 year relationship. The victim stated he used his cellphone to call the police because he felt threatened after the suspect threw a marijuana pipe at his shoulder. The victim reported that the suspect then grabbed the cellphone and threw it to the ground before also wrestling the victim to the ground. The victim stated he removed the suspect from being on top of him and left the room. Officers placed the suspect under arrest for domestic violence.

Officers responded to a report regarding a detained shoplifter, who was struggling against the store’s security employees. Upon arrival, officers assisted store security in detaining the suspect. Officers spoke with the victim, a store employee, who stated he had observed the suspect in the store multiple times and that the suspect had a history of stealing items. In this incident, the suspect was observed trying to steal a cake. When the victim asked the suspect to leave the cake, the suspect threw the cake at the victim’s head instead which caused both to engage in a physical altercation.  After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

A victim entered Taraval Station to report a domestic violence incident. The victim reported that he and his boyfriend had an argument the previous day, in the late afternoon. As the argument grew more intense, the victim tried to leave but the suspect blocked the door and shoved the victim away from the doorway. This unbalanced the victim, causing him to fall to the floor and the suspect punched the victim’s back four to five times. As the victim struggled and screamed for help, the suspect fled the scene and took the victim’s dog with him.
