Robbery

Junipero Serra Blvd & Font Blvd
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Responding officers spoke with the victim who reported that he was at a bus shelter waiting for a friend when three suspects approached him. One of the suspects suddenly punched him on the back of his head, which caused him to fall to the ground and drop his phone. A second suspect then stole the victim’s wallet and phone before the group fled the location.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Responding officers spoke to the victims who reported that they were waiting for a friend to pick them up when a suspect suddenly appeared and attempted to grab the backpack that they were carrying. The victim attempted to stop the suspect but the suspect punched him several times before fleeing the location. 

Possible Shots Fired

200 Chester Ave
Officers responded to a report of possible shots being fired. Responding officers spoke to the witness, who reported that he heard approximately five “bangs” and saw four possible suspects walking on the sidewalk. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate any evidence of gun shots or discarded shell casings. 

Driving While Intoxicated – Hit and Run – Arrested

Holloway Ave & Victoria St
Officers responded to a report of a possible drunk driver, who had driven his vehicle on to the front lawn. Responding officers spoke to the witness, who reported that he was driving behind the suspect when the suspect hit a parked vehicle and continued without stopping. Shortly after, the suspect collided with another vehicle and finally stopped the vehicle. Officers made contact with the suspect, who was observed to be unsteady on his feet and smelled heavily of alcohol. The suspect was unable to preform a field sobriety test successfully and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Tapia Dr & Holloway Ave
Officers responded to a report of a fight. Responding officers spoke with the victims, who were observed to be extremely intoxicated, and were told the the victims were walking on the street when a vehicle drove by and the occupants yelled a derogatory comment at them. The victims responded with their own derogatory comment which caused the vehicle to stop and reverse back towards them. A suspect then exited the vehicle and started fighting with the victims. Shortly after, the suspect fled the location in the vehicle. The victims were transported to the hospital.
