Robbery

Plymouth Ave & Holloway Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Responding officers spoke to the victim who reported that she was waiting for the bus when the suspect approached her. The suspect pointed to his wrist, which the victim thought he was asking for the time but said “no”. The suspect then pointed to his pocket and again, the victim said “no”. The suspect then grabbed the victim’s purse and fled into a waiting vehicle. The victim was able to provide the vehicle’s description, which matched a vehicle that the officers had observed earlier and had already obtained the license plate number. 

 

Battery

Officers responded to a report of a battery. Responding officers spoke to the victim, who stated that she shared the apartment with the suspect. The victim reported that the suspect and his friends were making too much noise and the victim asked them to quite down which caused an argument about their lease and the suspect angrily punched the victim. 

The suspect responded that he was eating lunch with his friends when the victim appeared and seemed angry because he was not invited to eat lunch with them. The victim waved his arms around in the air as he came closer to the group which caused the suspect to become fearful of being struck and he pushed the victim away. The victim then spat at the suspect and the suspect punched him. 

Both parties declined to press charges and were admonished.

Possesion of Loaded Fire Arm – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a person with a gun. A security guard, the witness, notified the officers to the location of the suspect, who was seated inside a vehicle.  The officers made contact with the suspect and were told that he was a security guard and had forgotten that his gun was in his holster when he walked into the mall. When confronted in the mall by the witness, the suspect stated that he took his gun out and unloaded it. After further investigation, the suspect was later cited.

Battery – Arrested

The victim reported a battery incident at Taraval Station. The victim reported that she was watching a football game with the suspect, who had been drinking and was upset that his team was losing. An argument ensued when the suspect decided to go visit a friend which angered the victim. The argument escalated and the suspect grabbed the victim’s shirt and placed his fist against the victim’s neck. The victim attempted to call 911 but the suspect took away her phone. The victim then fled the house and went directly to the station to report the incident. 

Officers responded to the house and detained the suspect. The suspect stated that he was watching the game and drinking when the victim told him that she was seeing another person. The suspect admitted to getting angry and had grabbed the victim’s arm. The victim then went into the bedroom to retrieve her items and threw them at the suspect when he also entered the room. 

After further investigation and interviews, the suspect was arrested.
