Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a location report concerning a person with a warrant for his arrest. The witness reported that he had observed the subject, a previous tenant who was no longer allowed in the building, being escorted inside by his wife. Dispatch conduced a computer check on the subject which revealed that the subject had warrants for his arrest out of Antioch. Responding officers detained the subject and the subject was arrested.

Multiple complaints were received at Taraval Station regarding numerous drivers failing to stop at the posted stop sign or failing to yield to a pedestrian. In one such incidence, officers observed a vehicle entering the intersection at about 35mph and failing both to slow down or stop at the posted stop sign. The officers made contact with the driver who stated that her purse had been stolen and she did not have her license or any type of identification. However, the officers were able to confirm her identity and a computer check revealed that her license had been suspended. The computer check also revealed that the driver had been cited previously, in a total of seven times, for driving with a suspended license. The driver was cited and her vehicle towed.
