Warrant Arrest – Arrested

1700 31st Ave
Officers responded to a report of a burglary. The victim reported that she was supposed to be the only one in the house but heard the dryer being turned on. The victim went to investigate and discovered that the suspect, a friend of her husband’s, was in the house despite the fact that he was told to move out three weeks ago. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him but the victim did not want to press charges. A computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.

1100 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a trespasser at a bank. The witness stated that the subject was sleeping in front of the bank’s doorway and blocking entry to the building. The officers conducted a computer check on the subject which revealed a warrant for his arrest. The subject was arrested.

Battery – Cited
4:10 pm
1300 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she doing her laundry in the laundromat when the suspect approached her and started touching her inappropriately after grabbing her. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Traffic Violation – No Driver’s Licnese – Cited

Winston Dr & 20th Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle failing to make a stop at a red light before making a right turn. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver stated that she did not have a license, which was confirmed by a computer check. The driver was cited.

Driving Under the Influence – Arrested

500 Skyline Blvd
Officers responded to a report concerning a drunk driver. The witness, a member of the US Park police, reported that the vehicle had been parked on Fort Funston despite the engine being on. The witness made contact with the driver and observed that the driver displayed multiple signs of intoxication. Responding officers conducted a series of tests on the driver, which the driver failed. After further investigation, the  driver was arrested.

Battery – Vandalism

3000 23rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim, the owner of the house, reported that he had rented the in law portion of the house on AirBnB. However, as the night progressed multiple people arrived at the location and the victim determined that a party was occurring. The victim attempted to take photos of the people but a suspect approached him and took away his cell phone before walking away.
