FREE “No Smoking” Signs for Taraval Merchants!

no_smoking_signIn effort to educate the public about smoking rules in San Francisco, the Department of Public Health’s Tobacco Free Project is handing out FREE “No Smoking” signs. They are available in English, Chinese, and Russian. There are two types of signs: one can be applied on a surface like a sticker and the other can be attached on the inside of a see-through glass surface.

The FREE “No Smoking” signs can be picked-up at Taraval Station. Please ask for Officer Charles Chan.

Studies have repeatedly shown that smoking is hazardous. Any person who inhales second-hand smoke can also suffer health problems. Please be aware in San Francisco, smoking is allowed at the street curb, or at least 15 feet away from exits, entrances, operable windows, and vents.
