Officers responded to a report of an auto burglary. The witness reported that he had observed the suspect inside his son’s vehicle and confronted the suspect. The suspect responded aggressively and the witness defended himself with pepper spray. Responding officers arrived at the location and detained the suspect. A computer check on the suspect revealed an arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle on fire, which was later extinguished by the SFFD. The victim stated that he had smelled burnt rubber and discovered that the rear bed of his pickup truck was on fire.
