The victim heard banging on this metal gate. The victim looked out and saw the suspect yanking at his gate. The victim then heard banging on the front door. The victim told the suspect that he was going to call the police. The suspect told the victim that he was a neighbor. Officers arrived on the scene, and the suspect had already left the scene.
