Theft – Shoplifting – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The witness, a loss prevention employee, reported that the suspect was observed suspiciously standing in one area of the store for an extended amount of time before selecting multiple items of merchandise and placing them into an empty paper bag. The suspect then proceeded to immediately exit the store but was confronted and detained by the witness. Responding officers investigated the incident and the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a call that reported the location of a possible auto theft suspect and were advised of the suspect’s name. A computer check revealed that the suspect had an active felony warrant. Responding officers arrived and spoke to the caller, who informed them that the suspect was inside his brother’s house and would exit soon. Officers detained the suspect as he exited and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Battery – Domestic Violence

Officers responded to a report of domestic violence. The victim reported that the suspect wanted to visit his mother’s house for Chinese New Year but the victim wanted him to stay home with their daughter. However, the suspect decided to visit his mother when the victim went to take a shower. When the suspect returned, an argument ensued. The argument further escalated when the victim refused to give the suspect his cell phone back. The victim stated that she was grabbed by her vest and thrown on to the ground by the suspect. The victim immediately left the house and called the police from her vehicle. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
