The witness reported that the suspect, who had a previous history of shoplifting, was observed entering the store. The witness confronted the suspect and told the suspect to leave the store but the suspect refused. The witness then attempted to empty the suspect’s shopping cart but the suspect retrieved two items from the cart and walked out of the store without paying for them. Responding officers located and detained the suspect. A computer check revealed an arrest warrant and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision. After further investigation, it was determined that one of the drivers only had a learner’s permit and was cited for not having a valid license.
