Robbery

300 Arballo Dr
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he had just parked his vehicle and was walking towards the rear entrance to the building when he was attacked by eight suspects. The suspects took his wallet before fleeing the scene. The victim suffered injuries that were non life threatening.

Vehicle Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

Officers observed a vehicle failing to signal while make a lane change and almost causing a collision. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was cited.

Robbery – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a citizen detaining a suspect. The victim reported that the suspect walked into the store and concealed a bottle of wine. When confronted about the theft, the suspect took up a fighting stance with his feet and raised his arms up and pushed past the victim. While fleeing, the suspect smashed the bottle of wine on the sidewalk and was reported to have boarded a bus by a witness. The officers stopped the bus, located the suspect and detained him. After reviewing the security video, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a suspect brandishing a knife at his roommates. The witness reported that he heard two males arguing before the argument became physical and believed that the suspect was intoxicated. The suspect was observed to walk into the apartment and return back outside with a large knife, which he began pounding on the ground. Officers responded to the house and located the suspect hiding inside a closet.

The victim reported that he had came home after work when the suspect began arguing with him about the cleanliness of the apartment which led to a physical altercation. The victim admitted that they had both been drinking. The suspect then when back into the apartment and grabbed a kitchen knife. The victim told the officers that he had known the suspect for a long time and that he did not feel afraid of him. The suspect admitted to the argument and fight, but denied getting a knife. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

The victim arrived at Taraval Station to make a report about threats. The victim stated that she had been in a relationship with the suspect, who frequently drank alcohol and had taken their break up badly. When the suspect found out that the victim had started dating another person, the suspect became angry and left her a threatening message that he would beat her up. The victim also noted that the suspect had also recently purchased a firearm, but she had never seen it.
